HOT FRIED

“Hey Papa! Can mama get a piece of that HOT FRIED,” that’s what my grandmother would say when she wanted a piece of hot fried fish! She liked it best when my uncle’s would go on the fish pond on levee to catch it! That batter had to be made & seasoned just right because if it wasn’t then she would say,

“Aht Aht mama, you ain’t made that no right get yo silly ass self from on outta here,” lol so you know I mastered it at this point, ummkay! 

Food for us was & will always be built around love! A piece of hot fired & strawberry cold drank will forever be the perfect duo for any day good or bad!  Why? Because my grandmother said so!
